Happy May everyone! Personally, I’m a big fan of the month of May. It feels like the start of summer, the flowers are blooming, and the idea of spending most of your time outside is actually doable. Not to mention all the events that come with the month of May from the Met Gala, May 4th (for all my Star Wars fans), Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day, to of course Memorial Day Weekend. That last one is a big one for the Hamptons and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us this year.

In Search of Cinco de Mayo Plans?
Bridgehampton Inn Restaurant
It only feels right to first talk about all the specials and deals the Hamptons will be serving up to celebrate Cinco de Mayo this Friday. Starting off strong at the Bridgehampton Inn Restaurant, Chef Alejandro Osorio has crafted a special Cinco de Mayo Fiesta menu. The prix fixe menu is $110 per person and will include Pozole and Tostadas, Zucchini Blossoms, Sea Scallop Ceviche, and Halibut. To make a reservation, click HERE.
Next up, we have The Clubhouse in East Hampton. They will be celebrating with music by DJ Chile. Doors open starting at 9 PM with tickets costing $20 including a free drink. They will also be mixing up some specialty cocktails just for the holiday. Dance your heart out or enjoy a drink on their outdoor lounges and couches right next to the fire pits.
Coche Comedor and their sister restaurant La Fondita will be opening at 4:30 PM to celebrate. It’s important to note that it’s also La Fondita’s birthday, so double the celebrations. Their specials include a la carte menu items such as Chiles Rellenos, Tamal de Rajas con Queso, Churros, and more.
Lastly, we have The Chequit, who is truly bringing the party with $5 margaritas, $2 tequila shots, and $5 select beers. Safe to say you will be covered if you want to celebrate properly.

Socialites Doing What They Do Best!
Southhampton Social Club
Southampton Social Club is hosting its reopening this weekend on the 5th and 6th. Priding itself on dining, drinking, and dancing, you can look forward to all of that and more with its upcoming events. On Friday, there will be sounds by Loki to celebrate their 14th season. There will be a sponsored open bar and hors d’oeuvres from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Following that on the 6th will be a Kentucky Derby-themed party. Time to break out the floppy hats and bright colors as derby attire is highly encouraged! There will be complimentary Mint Juleps and hors d'oeuvres from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, as well as music programmed by JOEY SIK.

May Day 5K
May Day 5K
If you want to work off all the tacos and margs from the weekend and support an amazing cause, you can participate in the May Day 5K taking place this Sunday at 9 AM. The planned route takes participants from Main Beach to Georgica Beach via Lily Pond Lane. Pre-registration for the 5K is $30 and the first 700 participants to sign up will also get a t-shirt, however, you can still sign up on race day for $35.
All of the proceeds go directly to the TYLER PROJECT in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. The TYLER PROJECT seeks to raise awareness of mental health concerns and cyberbullying in our towns for students, young adults, and families. Their goal is to provide immediate and ongoing counseling, educational services, and programs to help predict and prevent some of the crises facing young people today.

Sí Sí will be making its return tomorrow, May 3rd, for its 2023 season. Located at the EHP Resort & Marina in East Hampton, this waterfront Mediterranean restaurant brings tastes from all over Italy, Greece, Spain, Morocco, and more. On top of their delicious cuisine, Sí Sí sunsets are truly unmatched, looking out over Three Mile Harbor.
