She’s Not a Regular Mom, She’s a Hamptons Mom

Calissa
Mother’s Day is right around the corner (this Sunday) and hopefully, you aren’t reading this and realizing you have nothing planned, but if you are we have you covered. Especially if she’s a Hamptons’ momma, you better treat her like one!
Brunch is always a good idea and a number of restaurants around the East End are hosting Mother’s Day dining to celebrate.
Topping Rose House: Dine at Jean-Georges restaurant at Topping Rose House for a $98 prix-fixe three-course menu from 11 AM - 3 PM. Jean-Georges offers a classic Hamptons farm-to-table cuisine, using locally sourced ingredients from fishermen and farmers in the area. Their Mother’s Day Brunch menu highlights their fan favorites including their Crispy Salt and Pepper Calamari, Eggs Benedict, and Black Truffle and Fontina Cheese Pizza. Reservations are available HERE or at 631-808-200.
Calissa: Calissa in Water Mill will be serving a special prix-fixe menu including one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert for $55 PP. And what brunch wouldn’t be complete without bottomless? Calissa gives you that option for an additional charge. Calissa boasts its identity as Mykonos in the Hamptons, which is apparent in its menu from Grilled Spanish Octopus, Lobster Avocado Toast, to Baklava and Baked Alaska. Stone Creek Inn: Located in East Quogue, Stone Creek Inn is offering a $95 three-course prix-fixe menu from 3 - 7 PM. Under Executive Chef Christian Mir and Elaine Digiacomo, the restaurant’s menu is based on a style of cooking known as cuisine du marche (cooking with local produce). Their Mother’s Day Menu displays this from their Long Island Duck Meatballs, Scottish Smoked Salmon, to their Crispy Soft Shell Crabs and Cioppino. This menu also provides vegetarian and gluten-free options. To take a look at the menu, click HERE.
Flowers are an absolute must-have, but make sure you know her favorite color and flower (talking to the men here).
Sag Harbor Florist: Sag Harbor Florist has made shopping incredibly easy for Mother’s Day with their Love in Bloom edit. This edit offers five different beautifully arranged bouquets, which you can purchase from their website.
The Bridgehampton Florist: Stop by The Bridgehampton Florist for their Mother’s Day selection. If your mother is an Orchid lover, this is the florist for you because they have the largest selection of orchids anywhere on the East End. To check out their portfolio, click HERE.

More From Maison Close and Chef Lechantoux

Talya
If you have been following along, you may remember the exciting news that Maison Close is opening a location in Montauk this summer. And, of course, that’s not all. Executive Chef Geoffrey Lechantoux of Maison Close is also opening Talya, a Mediterranean restaurant, in Ruschmeyers Hotel. So we are not only blessed with one restaurant in Montauk but two! Chef Lechantoux truly never disappoints. Talya’s concept differs from Maison Close’s whimsical French aesthetic as it leans into a Greek coastal atmosphere. The interior will be designed with forest greens, floral patterns, and hanging lanterns to bring a Mediterranean vibe to Montauk. Just like Maison Close, Talya is slated to open Memorial Day Weekend.
